Hotel Review: Sheraton Miyako Hotel Tokyo

After 1 month and a half in Oceania, it was time to come back to Tokyo for its winter months.

This hotel is co-operated by Miyako Hotel and Marriott, my stay felt like nothing to do with Marriott from my experience.

On Miyako Hotel website, there are higher category rooms above Premium Deluxe King including all kinds of suites. Despite availability, they are reluctant to give out suite upgrade to Marriott high status holders.

Conclusion :

Despite a couple of disadvantages, Sheraton Miyako still stands out as a reasonable option among other Marriott properties in Tokyo. This property is best in autumn months as trees in the Japanese garden taken on beautiful colours, complimenting the Tokyo skyline.

From my 1 month stay experience, this property does not and will not upgrade you to any rooms above Premium Deluxe King regardless of your Marriott elite status.

Rooms are spotless just like other hotels in Japan, stone based bathroom and bathtub are pleasant and spacious, location is very unique

If they become more transparent about being compliant about Marriott Bonvoy program,

It is a bit shame their service
